Ebola came and went like a thief in the night, except for those who lived inside the "hot zone."

Most people have forgotten the tragic series of events that caused one of the biggest panics, and tragedies, in modern history.

Was the Ebola outbreak a singular event that will never resurface, or is it just a matter of time before this epidemic, or one with similar characteristics, strikes again?

Let's pray that it never happens again, and not forget the havoc that the recent Ebola scare wreaked on an already disadvantaged population.  We like to think that it can never happen to us, but fail to realize that it already has...
